The writing process is a journey—not a simple one from point A to point B, but one that has many twists and turns and often requires much perseverance. Even with a roadmap, we can find ourselves lost or uncertain, and sometimes we just need a little guidance to head in the right direction.
It is my goal as an editor to walk alongside you in your writing process, whether you’re in the planning stages or your work is ready for a final polish. I recognize this is ultimately your journey, so I aim to maintain your agency and voice in whatever you’re writing.
Although I am meticulous with grammar and punctuation, I also work to improve your writing for the big picture:
- Is your writing effective?
- Does it speak to your audience?
- Is it clear and understandable?
- Is it as strong as it can possibly be?
